As part of our expanding Corolla GR product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our ITCC (Intelligent Torque Controlled Coupling) cooling duct upgrade suitable for track or fast road use.

The duct offers a simple solution to improving the ITCC’s cooling ability, which helps to ensure rising temperatures don’t cause any damage and helps to reduce the risk of going into front-wheel drive mode during hard track use.

How it works
The ITCC is an electronically-controlled clutch pack that effectively oversees how much torque is sent to the rear wheels during driving. However, during hard track use it has become apparent that the unit suffers from overheating, which causes the car to switch to front-wheel drive only mode until it has returned to its correct operating temperature.

The AIRTEC Motorsport cooling duct works by directing fast-flowing air passing underneath the car directly towards the ITCC, which relies purely on passing air flow to shed excess heat effectively. By providing more sustained air flow, its cooling capacity and ability to withstand heat is increased, which therefore allows it to better control operating temperatures in comparison to standard.

Developed from a 3D scan and CAD software for perfect fitment, the duct is made from Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) for durability yet lightweight construction, it can be used in conjunction with our AIRTEC Motorsport differential cooler. 

Finished in red, it comes complete with all the correct fixtures and fittings, as well as detailed installation instructions.
