As part of our expanding VAG product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our turbo muffler delete for the VW Polo AW 2.0 GTi (facelift) with EA888 Gen 4 DNNA/207hp engine (08/2021 onwards), suitable for track or fast road use.

A direct replacement part, it features a freer-flowing design with an increased internal diameter and offers improved throttle response, performance and acoustics. 

How it works
In standard form, the car’s turbocharger’s outlet is fitted with an internal chamber that works like an exhaust baffle/muffler to purposely disrupt flow and create turbulence, which in-turn reduces harmonic noise. 

The AIRTEC Motorsport muffler delete simply replaces this disruptive chamber with a freer-flowing single pipe. Not only does it remove the turbulence, the diameter is also increased as the original part features a 40.5mm diameter at the start and tapers to 51mm. Our direct replacement tapers to a 60mm diameter to match the original boost pipe, which offers a 18% increase over standard and 48% larger overall compared to standard from start to finish. 

The turbo muffler delete includes all fixtures and fittings, as well as detailed instructions.
